Nodar Jorbenadze replanted his grandfather’s terraces in 2019 after they had stood empty for thirty years, which in Racha involved rebuilding the dry stone walls before anything could go in the ground.

The first proper vintage was 2023 and there is not much of it. He is honest that the wine is young and the operation is unfinished, and he would rather you came now and saw the work than in five years when it looks tidy.
