This is a work in progress. Every producer listed right now is invented — the families, the wines, the phone numbers and the photographs are all placeholders, put there to build and test the site. Nothing here describes a real business yet.
What this is
A map of small, family-run wineries in Georgia, and a straight answer about what each family offers: whether you can taste, whether you can stay, whether they will feed you. It exists because that information is genuinely hard to find if you do not read Georgian and do not already know someone.
There are 12 families listed at the moment. It is a directory and nothing else — there is no cart, no booking system and no commission. You contact the family directly, and whatever you arrange is between the two of you.
Who it is for
Someone standing in Telavi on a Tuesday with a phone and an afternoon free, and someone planning a trip six months out. Both need the same thing in the end: a name, a number and a set of directions.
How families get listed
A producer has to ask to be listed and give written permission before anything about them is published. If that permission is not on file, their page does not exist — that is enforced in the code, not left to good intentions.
Some listings carry a “verified” marker. It means only that we hold the family's consent, their business registration and their food-safety paperwork. It says nothing about the wine, and it is not an organic or any other certification — this site certifies nothing about how wine is made. See the terms.
How it is paid for
Eventually by producers, through a small annual fee for a listing. That is not built yet and nobody is being charged. There is no advertising and there will not be any.
What it does not do
It sets no cookies, loads nothing from anyone else's servers, and does not know who you are. That is why it never asks you to accept anything. The privacy page explains the small amount that is counted and why.
